Hello! It’s quite a humbling joy to introduce myself as the pastor of our family of Christ-followers. It’s humbling because I, like others, hear the term pastor and tend to associate it with Spiritual significance or some kind of higher religious devotion, and with sober honesty I can say those descriptions don’t quite fit. Broken, needy, and dependent perhaps more appropriately unveil the weak nature of my heart and life.
My simple goal as a pastor is to present Jesus Christ and encourage genuine encounters with His life-changing mercy and grace. In strange yet wonderful ways, I’ve personally experienced Christ most richly in those dark and needy areas of my life. Being all too mindful of my weaknesses, I am increasingly thankful and dependent upon Jesus as my great rescuer, healer, redeemer, and unwavering companion. I could sit here and try to type out words I think might impress you and convince you to come check out this Church with the awesome pastor (believe me, that version is always fresh on the mind!), but I’d much rather you be curious about a Church that claims communion with a living Savior.
And that’s where the joy part comes in. I get to see firsthand the wonderful interaction between broken people and Jesus Christ. I get to share in their exciting journeys of finding real life in His death and resurrection. I get to enjoy the dynamic of growing up as Jesus’ family together.
All that to say, “Hi, I’m the pastor at the Bible Fellowship Church of Adams County”. It would be my privilege to chat with you sometime, answer any questions you might have about our Church, be of service to you or your family however I can. I want to invite to come see what our new Church is all about. Come join in our worship celebration on Sunday mornings. Come explore more about Christianity in our home community groups. Come and share a meal with us. But don’t come solely looking for great things from me or anyone else here, come expecting incredible things from Jesus Christ!
Blessings!
Aaron Susek
