What does it mean to be Christian? What do I have to do to be a Christian? Isn’t Christianity just one of the many different religions all trying in their own ways to worship God and follow Him in faith? These are all great questions! In one sense, life at our Church is all about exploring and answering together these important questions.
The Apostle Paul once said, to live is Christ. This is our prayerful intention as a Church. Jesus is our freedom, our forgiveness, our enduring hope, our guide and unending supply. Sunday mornings we’ll be exploring in depth the life of Jesus as told throughout the book of Luke.
If you stop by our church on any given Sunday, you might notice that we don’t quite look like a normal, established Church. We don’t have all the traditional church routines and programs. We’re probably a bit more informal. And you’d probably catch on that we’re still learning all that it means to be the community of Christ. The main reason? We’re a little new at this. We are a church plant in the New Oxford and Gettysburg communities. »»
